Wisdom High School-Akalo is celebrating an impressive performance in the 2025 Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) examinations results.
A total of 438 students sat for the exams, with the majority scoring in the top grade brackets.
According to the results, 242 students representing 55% of the candidates scored between 14 and 20 points.
The school also produced eight students with a perfect score of 20 points, while 16 others scored 19 points.
These results place Wisdom High School among the top performers in the region.
Mr. Ambrose Ogwal, the school’s Director, expressed joy and pride in the students’ achievement.
“I am very happy and proud of our candidates. These results show what the ‘Wisdom for Excellence’ spirit truly means. The students worked hard, our teachers were dedicated, and parents gave great support. It is not just about the numbers it is a story of teamwork and determination,” he said.
Ogwal noted that the school has consistently led in UACE performance in northern Uganda since the introduction of the program.
He described the latest results as proof that Wisdom High School-Akalo remains a center of quality education in Lango and beyond.
In other developments, the school management has begun constructing a sports stadium to promote education through sports. Ogwal said the facility will be the first of its kind in northern Uganda once completed.
