Out of the 107 students who sat for the exams, a remarkable 82 candidates (77%) have secured university admission, each attaining either two or three principal passes.
School director Johnson Aligi provided a detailed breakdown: “We are thrilled to report that 50 students, representing 47% of our total candidates, earned three principal passes. Additionally, 32 students (30%) achieved two principal passes. Together, these 82 students have paved a clear path for their higher education journey.”
Mr. Aligi also acknowledged the remaining candidates, noting that 21 students (19%) obtained one principal pass.
He emphasized that this reflects the school’s commitment to supporting every learner’s academic growth. Looking ahead, the institution is developing enhanced support systems to help all students maximize their potential.
The school community is celebrating Okello Ceaser as this year’s academic champion. His outstanding performance, particularly in a challenging subject combination, has impressed both staff and students, serving as motivation for his peers.
According to Mr. Aligi, Akalo Comprehensive continues to distinguish itself as a premier institution for quality education, particularly in Sciences. “Our Science department has once again demonstrated teaching excellence.
The strongest performances came in the PEM and BCM subject combinations, reinforcing our commitment to nurturing future doctors, engineers, and innovators.”
Success extended across various disciplines, with Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, English Language, and History recording excellent results. Notably, 12 students achieved the highest possible score in English Language.
