PLE 2025 results to be released tomorrow

The Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) has confirmed that the 2025 Primary Leaving Examination (PLE) results will be officially released tomorrow, January 30, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.

The release will take place at State Lodge Nakasero, Kampala, following approval by the Minister of Education and Sports, Janet Kataha Museveni.

A total of 818,010 candidates sat for the exams, which were conducted across over 16,000 examination centers nationwide starting on October 31, 2025. Girls slightly outnumbered boys, with 428,398 female candidates compared to 389,589 males.

Parents and candidates will be able to access results via SMS by sending to 6600 or through the official online UNEB platforms.
As the nation waits, expectations are high that this year’s performance will improve on last year’s results.
