Nation Media Group Resumes Operations After One-Month Shutdown

Nation Media Group (NMG) has announced the resumption of its operations after a month-long shutdown ordered by the Chief of Defence Forces, Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba.
Joe Muganda, Chairman of NMG PLC, said the company’s television, print, radio, and digital services would be restored progressively as it completes the necessary operational arrangements.
“We appreciate the patience and understanding shown by our audiences, clients, and partners during this period. We also thank you for your continued trust and confidence in our brand,” he said.
NMG’s operations were suspended on 28 June following an order issued by Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba. The company has now confirmed that services will gradually return as normal.
