Vice President Alupo in Zimbabwe for APRM

Uganda’s Vice President, H.E. Jessica Alupo, this evening, 15 July, arrived in Harare, Zimbabwe, to represent H.E. President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, the Chairperson of the African Peer Review Mechanism (APRM), at the launch of Zimbabwe’s National Programme of Action following the country’s APRM peer review.
Upon her arrival at Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport, Vice President Alupo was received by H.E. Dr. Constantino Chiwenga, Vice President of the Republic of Zimbabwe.
Later, H.E. President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa hosted Vice President Alupo for an official bilateral meeting at his office, where they discussed matters of mutual interest between Uganda and Zimbabwe.
The official launch of Zimbabwe’s National Programme of Action is scheduled to take place on 16, July 2026.
